We work with many employers throughout Ohio to place workers with visual and other disabilities. Through our Vocational Services, Work Adjustment Program and Job Development Program, we train our clients and help them get the jobs they deserve.

Work Adjustment Program

Vision & Vocational Services wants to help you accomplish anything — and earn the job you deserve. Our Work Adjustment Program allows people to gain valuable work experience while getting paid! We do our best to get your ready for the work force. In work adjustment, you will:

  • Work 20 hours per week
  • Be paid for your work
  • Receive the one-on-one attention you need

Once you have successfully completed the Work Adjustment Program, you will be ready for the next step in the employment process.

Job Development Program

Our Job Development Program helps you find a job that meets your interests, abillities and needs. Our job developers will:

  • Make a resume for you
  • Help you practive interviewing
  • Help you with your job search
  • Give you what you need to get the job you want

Job developers work with you to determine what job is right for you! This plan is based on:

  • Your goals and interests
  • Functional limitations
  • The needed salary, work hour and benefits
  • Job location
  • Transportion

The Job You Deserve

After you get the job you've been working for, we will help you:

  • Obtain work place adjustments you may need to do your job
  • Receive training with an on-site job coach, as needed
  • Grow comfortable in your new work environment

Your job developer will track your progress for three months after you begin working to make sure you are doing well and meeting employer expectations.
