Job Shadowing

Qualified people with disabilities perform assembly, packaging, and inspection tasks for local employers.

Job Shadowing allows a person to observe competitive workers doing the same job he/she might want to do.  This provides an opportunity to ask "real" employees and their supervisors questions about the work, such as what qualifications are necessary for the job, any training or equipment needed, and human resource issues such as salary, hours, and benefits provided.
