Job Coaching
Qualified people with disabilities perform assembly, packaging, and inspection tasks for local employers.
Job Coaching provides a trained, professional job coach to accompany an individual to the job site, helping him/her learn to perform the new job duties properly. Our goal is to provide as much support and training as needed, while encouraging independence on the job to better ensure success. As a person gains skill and confidence in his/her ability to do the job, the coach’s involvement will gradually fade until full independence on the job is attained. For persons with deafness or hard of hearing, our signing job coach will provide these services in a more accessible and understandable way. Our signing job coach will also help the employer better adjust to and accommodate an employee with hearing loss. (Signing job coach only available in certain locales)
