Job Development and Placement
Qualified people with disabilities perform assembly, packaging, and inspection tasks for local employers.
Job Development and Placement services helps individuals connect with the job that meets their knowledge, skills and abilities. Our job developers assist with putting together a resume, preparing for a job interview, finding job leads, submitting job applications, setting up and attending interviews, and providing as much help as needed to attain the desired job. Our goal is to find people with disabilities the jobs they want—as quickly as possible. Upon job placement, we ensure people receive the support needed at the start of their new job, whether it be understanding the employers’ hiring and orientation process, arranging necessary accommodations and supports, or assuring all information is made available to the new employee in a suitable format.
