Functional Low Vision Assessment

Qualified people with disabilities perform assembly, packaging, and inspection tasks for local employers.

This enables a person to continue accomplishing those tasks essential for daily living or successful employment. Through the use of special lighting, magnification devices, reading stands, and other low vision aids, people may once again be able to read, write checks, manage their mail, keep track of medications, and work at a job. Vision rehabilitation training is provided so that one may learn to use these low vision aids effectively.  Employees, employers and persons seeking to live independently are encouraged to contact us for an assessment.
